Usually swimwear designers have their Idea what design will be made in the next collection. Still sometimes customers have their own ideas.
Few days ago we got a phone call from our customer and afterwards he came to our ware-store to pick some swimwear. But suddenly he decided to order some new combination of colours. So new items were born, new series of practically same design came out.
Customer is a God, and God must be listened. So we made some new swimwear in different colours just for him.
What was born after few days :

Always questionable ? Are being men also observed as they observe women ? Do men notice that they are being observe ? Last week Vittori Swimwear started advertising campaign in Poland through Facebook. Vittori Swimwear is primary attended to get more men admirers as they are potential client. But it turned completely otherwise. More women noticed the advert , more women liked our facebook page. Some would say, men are lazy, they are intersted in other stuff, men are shy. Perhaps so. But still this result forced me to make a conclusion, women do take care what men wear. Women do observe, women do comment, women do make opinion. Men are observed. No matter, being at work wearing business suites or going to out wearing casual.
Also swimwear is important. I heard my step-mother, when we launched our first collection, talking to his husband, my step-father, to get proper beachwear. She didn’t want him to be like other men, wearing really improper swimwear with really awful and old-fashioned design.

What is Vintage really? According to the Wikipedia Vintage is Generally speaking, clothing which was produced before the 1920s is referred to as antique clothing and clothing from the 1920s to 20 years before the present day is considered vintage. Why sometimes on the fashion shows some very famous designers show their creation in vintage style?
Why sometimes when we see some creation or design our first thought would be “Oh, I have seen something like that before”? Because, it’s true. Humans have eyes, humans have memory, human have storage for billions of pictures called brain. Our memory is like a movie camera travelling through the time. Good example is driving a car. Pictures of landscape, trees, fields of crops, green, yellow, brown, variety of mixed colors. Everything is memorized. Even great paintings present the scenes from the nature or nearby and the painters weren’t just stand in their ateliers, some even didn’t have them actually, so they stood their easels outside and painted what they saw.
Pretty much is the same with the designers of all kinds. Some creations are close to our eyes some we think that’s not for me. I would do different, I would something different. ACTUM NE AGAS would say old Romans, what basically mean “Don’t create what’s already created”. And yes, at Vittori Swimwear we went to the shops, we looked up into the web shops to see what we could do different. And yes we questioned many persons, many men advised us what they wanted as their new swimwear. Is our collection or even one of them a vintage style? Perhaps. Honestly we generally only hear what has been worn in 50 or 80 years ago, but certainly we are curious and become nostalgic. That’s why vintage style is always successful. But on the other hand each designer want to make something different than other and still follow it’s own path. So are we.
This year is the year when our daughter is going to pass her last class in the primary school. Before the last tests, before the last day of the school, unofficially last school year ends with prom dance. I can’t say what is more difficult, to dress a boy or a girl. In our family we have had the proms; two boys had finished primary school, already. Both boys are very tall, their bodies are very slim . Wasn’t easy even to think about what they would be worn on that special evening. First thought was a man’s dress. It was really very funny changing variety of different trousers, different jackets. Either they had looked like an empty bag or the outfit had made them too old. Finally we had ended with casual way.
But what to do with the girl? We know at her age any formal dress code as for older girls would be odd. She would look to old; most likely she would feel uncomfortably all the evening.
And after all why not look into some fashion magazine? Perhaps there we would find the idea for a teenager. Yes, we found one. We found the magazine with plenty ideas. We went to the stylist who is also a tailor.
Our daughter is more into the books, then into the fashion. So at the visit she naively asked the stylist, what colors could be mixed, what colors can we match together? The answer was very simple, the stylist said. Just look through the window or look around when walking outside. Nature would tell you what to mix, what to match
Very similar is with Vittori Swimwear. When modeling the collection Tropic Island, we had turned around, not into tropic forests neither we went to tropic islands literally. Slip model called Autumn follows the nature colors matching together. Dark orange and matching deep red was the result. To make them spicier we add orange leaflets on the back. Bingo, or “Voll Treffer” would Germans say.
“I am punk enchantress, fat lesbian and hate high-fat food” was the title of the book I read recently. Story describes the adventures of the young girl – pupil of the final class of the elementary school. Her family had moved into the new apartment, so that girl eventually changed the school. She was different anyway, but in the new class her outlook was really out of mind. Her haircut, her dresses, her dark eyes hadn’t got many new friends. Sounds familiar to you ? Surely you’ve got similar experience. When you were new or had got new member of your class team? Like you open the window after few hours closed, new air comes in. People are usually afraid of what’s different. Each new member of the society brings new air. Mostly he/she brings new wave, new approach, new ideas. Something that was missing in last couple of years. Like long unsolved math’s enigma. Solution was on the table but no one could see it, except the new member of the team. If there’s is a teacher or mentor who encourages the class, that’s fine, that’s what we needed to be better than others, then it’s ok. But surely you can always find someone who would feel jealous, who’s primate status is in danger.
Vittori swimwear is also new at the market. We offer something different, fresh. We changed the seems, we added some shape to the middle part of swimwear and we used bright colours- like sunny yellow, orange, green and red. Why not ? Summer is hot, full of colours in nature. The members of the team interviewed several men to discover whether they were satisfied with their existing swimwear. We listened what they had said. First we improved the shape of our swimwear. The central seem in the middle of front side was very unpractical. Due to the anatomic contour of the men’s body it divides the front side but men’s front side is not symmetric. Not like women’s body. Vittori made swimwear symmetric on the front side as well. Contours and seems moved away from vital part of the men’s body. We have had free up the space, we made more air.
